• Supplies Needed:

    • French Press
    • 60g (4 tbsp) of Coffee
    • 1L of Boiling Water
    • Timer

    Servings:

    4 Cups of Coffee (6oz)

  • Instructions:

    1. Measure out 60 grams of coffee (4 tbsp)
    2. If grinding, make sure you grind is very coarse, it should look like flaky sea salt
    3. Pour the coffee grounds into the bottom of the empty French Press. If you want to go above and beyond, pre heat the French Press with boiling water prior to pouring the coffee grounds inside
    4. Pour 1 Liter of boiling water evenly over the coffee grounds and stir with a spoon to make sure there are no clumps of ground coffee
    5. Place the French Press plunger on top of the French Press without plunging and let the coffee steep for 5 minutes
    6. After 5 minutes you can choose to plunge the French Press but we recommend leaving the plunger on top of the French Press and not plunging. Plunging will actually disturb the coffee grounds and can lead to a grittier cup of coffee
    7. Get ready to be caffeinated!
